Enemies & Lovers: the Crown of Elfhame

Played this with four friends and the scheming got so tense we lost track of time. Getting your prince to the crown while sabotaging everyone else is genuinely clever, and the rivalries carry over into the next round.

The scheming-to-the-crown mechanic is brilliantly tense—every toast to your enemies’ incompetence actually shifts the political landscape, and my group was fully hooked by round two. The writing captures that sharp, sly tone of Elfhame perfectly, making each betrayal feel earned.

The betrayal mechanics had my whole group gasping every turn—backstabbing your rivals at the toast phase never gets old. Setup took a bit but the payoff is worth it.
