The map makes you feel like you're actually navigating the island, and the curse mystery kept me hooked until the very end. Perfect for a cozy evening in.
My kid usually hates reading but the branching choices in this one had him flipping back to try different routes to lift the curse. The art on the cursed island pages is genuinely creepy in the best way.
I picked this up for a long flight and barely noticed the hours pass. The cursed islanders' plea actually made me care about which path I chose, which I didn't expect from a graphic novel adventure.
