The ten-year time jump after the Whitechapel murders gives the mystery real weight, and I liked that you can play as either Holmes or Watson. The branching choices actually matter, so my first playthrough ended very differently than my second.
Choosing Watson this time instead of Holmes changed how the whole investigation played out, and I didn't expect that. The ten-year gap after the Whitechapel murders gives the story a heavier feel than the usual detective tale.
The ten-year jump after the Whitechapel murders gives the whole mystery a darker, more personal weight, and I loved how the branching choices actually change who you suspect. Replaying to see how differently a case unfolds when you lean on Holmes's deductions versus following your gut kept me up way
