The branching choices actually surprised me a couple times, especially once you start robbing and tricking your way up from the outhouse. Played it after the kids were in bed like the description warns, and it earns that mature rating.
Didn't realize how dark this would get until my character got shanked in the alley behind the bar. The whole robbing-and-killing path is genuinely wild, definitely not one to play around the kids like the description warns.
I wasn't expecting a choose-your-own-adventure to actually make me feel guilty about my choices, but robbing the wrong guy at the outhouse had me second-guessing everything. Definitely not one to play with the kids around, which the warning makes clear upfront.
