The world-building hooked me right away—the mix of alien tech and shadowy conspiracies keeps every page tense. The cyborg characters feel genuinely conflicted, not just action props. Perfect for readers who like their sci-fi with a paranoid twist.
The art in this one is gorgeous, especially the full-page spreads of the cyborg districts. I finished it in two nights and immediately wished the next volume was already out.
I wasn't sure how the alien contact angle would play out alongside the secret organizations plot, but it all clicks by the midpoint. The cyborg characters ended up being my favorite part, way more layered than I expected for a graphic novel.
