A new expansion featuring even more of the crime-solving goodness you have come to expect!
Detective: Heists & Heartbreak features three fiendish crimes designed by Evan Blewett. Each case features beautiful art fromVincent Dutrait, Snow Conrad, and Agnieszka Dąbrowiecka that will pull you into the mystery from the moment you start.
Each of the three cases by Evan Blewett plays out like a proper short story, with the heartbreak one catching me completely off guard. The difficulty ramps up nicely, and my group has already replayed the mansion heist twice.
Wasn't sure three new cases would be enough to justify another expansion, but the difficulty curve here is noticeably sharper than the base game. Each of the three scenarios feels distinct rather than variations on the same setup, which kept me guessing right up to the final reveal.
The three cases by Evan Blewett really push you to think like a detective, and the way each crime unfolds keeps you flipping back through the evidence folder for hours. I’ve played this expansion twice with my group already, and the second run felt just as fresh.
