***IMPORTANT!*** This Feature Film box is not playable by itself and requires you to also own the Core Box.
Maple Lane was the picturesque midwestern neighborhood until teens started dying in their sleep. Dr. Fright - The Dream Doctor has returned to torture the lives of the families that ruined his. There’s nowhere to hide when you sleep in Frightmare on Maple Lane.
The Frightmare on Maple Lane killer has such a creepy suburban gimmick — teens dying in their sleep on a quiet street is way more unsettling than I expected. Just remember this is a Feature Film box, so you'll need the Core Box before you can actually play it.
Only grabbed this after I already had the core box, and it slots in perfectly as a new killer and location. The Maple Lane setting makes for some genuinely tense early rounds before anyone's even armed. Just remember it's unplayable on its own, so don't buy it first like I almost did.
The setup time felt quicker than most scenarios I've played, and the killer's mechanics kept me genuinely on edge every turn. Maple Lane's vibe is hauntingly good once you get the board going, though you'll definitely need the Core Box ready or you're stuck before you start.
