『 Detective: Bullets Over Hollywood 』
The interrogations are what sold me—you actually sweat over which questions to ask before the clock runs out. Playing as an LAPD homicide detective feels less like rolling dice and more like piecing together a case file. My group lost an entire Sunday to it and nobody complained once.
The cases pull you straight into that gritty 1940s LA atmosphere, and the narrative-driven clues make every interrogation feel like it actually matters. It’s the kind of game where you’ll lose an entire evening chasing leads with friends.
The case files are stuffed with enough red herrings and moral gray areas that my group spent a full evening just arguing over which suspect to grill next. Every decision feels like it actually shapes the noir story, not just points on a scoreboard.
