The 1940s LA setting with three new cases had me hooked from the first interrogation. Our game group stretched Saints & Sinners across two evenings, and the plotting holds up right to the reveal.
Three new cases for City of Angels is exactly what our group needed, and the 1940s LA setting still feels as grimy and tense as ever. The interrogation mechanic got a nice tweak here too, it kept everyone at the table arguing over who to press first. We've already burned through two cases in a week.
We cracked the first case on a rainy Saturday and the way each clue branches in that 1940s LA setting really pulls you in. The three standalone scenarios give us plenty of replay without dragging, the narrative depth is exactly what I hoped for from an expansion.
