Starting a fresh Career run with these five cards makes the early game way less stale, since each one gives you a new opening option before your first real negotiation. I've played through Year 0 a few times now and the variety they add is honestly the reason I keep coming back to it.

Jason ★★★★★

These five cards slot in right at the start of a Career and give you a little extra flavor before the first hostage even shows up. Nice that they're optional, so you can leave them out if you want a cleaner run.

Eli ★★★★★

Starting a new Career with these Year 0 cards makes the early game feel way less bare-bones. Five cards isn't a lot, but they fit in before your first real scenario and give you a nice little boost right out of the gate.
