The 2D6 move system here feels familiar but the loop mechanic genuinely changes how my group plays—we've been stuck replaying the same night for three sessions now and nobody's bored yet. Character creation took under an hour, which is rare for my table.
I've run a few PbtA games before, so the 2D6 move system felt familiar right away, but the endless loop premise gives it a genuinely tense twist. Our group spent most of session one just arguing about which death to chase next, which is exactly what I wanted from it.
The 2D6 move system clicks immediately—my group had characters up and rolling within ten minutes of cracking the book open. The endless loop premise underneath the city gives our sessions this tense, Groundhog Day energy that keeps everyone on edge.
