Your brigade has been tasked with infiltrating Tartarus III, a space station containing a very important lab sample. What it is exactly, you aren’t sure. But your job is to follow orders, not ask questions. The Veleptors, a dinosaur-like alien race, has already infiltrated the ship and that won’t make your job any easer. Get in and get the job done soldier!
The mission briefing sets you up perfectly; every choice on Tartarus III feels like it matters, and the tension of not knowing what the lab sample is kept me hooked. The artwork pulls you straight into that cramped station corridor vibe. Easily my favorite interactive read this month.
I finished my first playthrough in one sitting because the whole "follow orders, don't ask questions" setup kept me paranoid about every choice. Tartarus III has this eerie layout that made me double back twice before committing to a path. Already started a second run to see what that lab sample act
The branching choices in this one actually had me second-guessing whether to follow orders or poke around Tartarus III, and I restarted twice just to see what the lab sample really was. Art's clean too, easy to get lost in for an evening.
