In The Obsidian, you have risen to power as the new leader of a mercenary army. You may be swords for hire, but you're true to your soldiers, and your client. You and your trusted lieutenants must fight-and win-in a war for King Hauora against Duke Ewilhem. Look out, there are traitors and ambushes hidden in the pages, so make sure to rely on your scouts, archers, and cavalry. Can you win the war?

Ryan J. ★★★★★

The way my choices actually affect the loyalty of my lieutenants makes every decision feel weighty. Been playing through different tactics each time and it never gets old.

James W. ★★★★★

Didn't expect to get this attached to my lieutenants, but the loyalty choices actually made me pause before picking. The art during the battle scenes is gorgeous too, especially the siege panels. Stayed up way too late finishing it.

Miles M. ★★★★★

Didn't expect to get attached to my lieutenants, but here we are. The branching choices actually made me pause before deciding whether to stay loyal to a client or protect my own soldiers.
