Playing as Watson instead of Sherlock changes how you gather clues, and the three cases really make you work to pin the culprit behind it all. Finished the first two on a rainy afternoon and immediately started the next one.
Playing as Watson instead of Holmes was a nice twist I didn't expect from a detective game. Failing a case and being stuck until you crack it kept the tension high the whole way through.
The three-case structure actually works — you have to nail the culprit before the next case unlocks, which made me slow down and actually think instead of guessing. Switching between Sherlock and Watson changes how you read the clues, and I ended up replaying the second case just to see what I misse
